In May 2021 Oppo has introduced their latest Smartphone, the Oppo K9 5G in China. The Oppo K9 5G is the successor of the Oppo K7 5G which comes with more powerful specifications and a high refresh rate.
The Oppo K9 5G is powered by a SoC made by Qualcomm, namely the Snapdragon 768G combined with ColorOs 11.1 based on Android 11. The Snapdragon 768G is supported by 8 GB RAM LPDDR4X. The Oppo K9 5G comes in 2 storage variants, namely 128 GB and 256 GB which do not support the Micro SD slot.
On the the screen, the Oppo K9 5G uses an Amoled screen panel made by Samsung measuring 6.43 inches with a punch-hole design. This screen has a Full HD + resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20: 9, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The Oppo K9 5G comes with an under-display fingerprint sensor.
On the camera, the Oppo K9 5G is equipped with a 64 MP main camera, 8 MP ultra-wide lens and 2 MP macro lens. While on the front side there is a 32 MP selfie camera.
The Oppo K9 5G is equipped with a 4,300 mAh capacity battery with 65 W fast charging. According to Oppo, this smartphone can be fully charged in 35 minutes.
To satisfy gamers, Oppo has equipped this smartphone with a 3D cooling system for heat dissipation. The Oppo K9 5G offers users other features such as dual SIM slots, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Oppo K9 5G is priced at 1,999 Yuan (~ $ 309) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version and 2,199 Yuan (~ $ 339) for the storage variant 8GB RAM + 256 GB. The Oppo K9 5G comes in two color variants, namely Spades K (black) and Wings of Symphony (blue gradient).
